Anna Galan

Anna Galan, born in Mexico City and raised in Houston, is a senior at Incarnate Word Academy. Along with her passion for authentic news reporting and storytelling, she is the host of the self-started Growing & Glowing podcast, through which she researches, conducts interviews, and manages social media platforms. Anna published one of her first stories during the Boston University summer journalism program, through which she wrote an article on the dangers of the fast-fashion industry. From then on, she continued as a writer for the school newspaper, and the student-run Falcon Newspaper. In addition, she is the lead executive board member for the digital media/communications team for her school’s Ambassadors program. A fun fact about Anna: she has been playing soccer ever since she was 6 years old!
