Texas Independence Day Celebration

George Ranch Historical Park celebrates Texas Independence Day with Camp Life demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, firearms and canon demonstrations, and a reading of the Texas Declaration of Independence.  

Join for a Salute to honor Texas heroes at the following times: 

12 p.m. Salute to honor the defenders of the Alamo and those who would sign the Texas Declaration of Independence.

1 p.m. Salute to honor the General of the Texas Army and the losses suffered at the Alamo and Goliad.

2 p.m. Salute  to honor the Battle of San Jacinto and the subsequent formation of the Republic of Texas.
