Books and Binocs: An Evening with Cin-Ty Lee

Join Houston Audubon and Land Sea & Sky for an in-store signing event with author Cin-Ty Lee as he debuts the Field Guide to North American Flycatchers: Empidonax and Pewees. The field guide takes bird identification to an entirely new level by training readers to observe subtle differences in structure, color patterns, and vocalizations before delving into the finer details of a particular species.

In conjunction with the book signing, we will be collecting pre-owned binoculars for the “Focus on the Good” charity program. The "Focus on the Good" binocular program is an initiative by Land Sea & Sky and Houston Audubon that collects and refurbishes donated binoculars. These rejuvenated binoculars are then distributed to underprivileged individuals in our community as well as guides in developing countries.
