Bases loaded

The Blue Anchor 9U baseball team capped off their fall season by winning the 2023 Texas Fall State Championships, earning them a promotion to the Majors division of Perfect Game Baseball. The players are (pictured, front row, from left) Maddox Granderson, Oliver Chen, Jack Jurgens, Eli Musher, Banks Dailey, Zain Thowfeek, Ewan Walker, Asher Levy, Everett Dooley, Henry Croley, Beckett Whitman; coaches are (pictured, back row, from left) Ted Walker (assistant coach), Elan Levy (assistant coach), Zach Dailey (assistant coach), and Rob Whitman (head coach). Competing in the highly competitive Perfect Game Baseball USA Fall League, they secured third and second place in tournaments before clinching the state title. They now rank eighth nationally in the Majors division and are set to compete in the Perfect Game World Series in East Cobb, Ga.
