Emily, Charlotte, Madeline, and Michael Magilton, Fatima Alsubhi, Scott Stookey, Basak Kurtoglu, David Sambrooks, and Tim Parker enjoyed a Sunday afternoon at the Communities in Schools (CIS) BBQ Bash for Brighter Futures. The event drew 300 guests to Levy Park for a barbecue feast of grilled meats, seafood, a suckling pig, and all the trimmings. This school year marks the 45th anniversary of CIS programming for six school districts and 163 campuses in the Houston area to help students stay in school and work towards a successful future. Along with a barbecue buffet, guests enjoyed activities including face painting, corn hole, and music from DJ Jonathan Cano.
