Five best friends went fishing for minnows in the stream near their Wilchester West homes and ended up finding a neighbor’s missing wallet. Clayton Pelliccio, Johnny Shifflett, Julius Noble, Christopher Pelliccio, and Benjamin Noble (pictured, from left, with the wallet owner) were all smiles after the wallet and its owner were reunited. The boys noticed the wallet sticking out of the mud next to the stream, and discovered it was full of identification, credit cards, gift cards, and more. Motivated to do the right thing, the boys arrived at the wallet-owner’s home and rang the doorbell. The resident immediately recognized his wallet and told the group he had lost it five months earlier in the sewer in front of his home while getting into the car during a big rainstorm. To celebrate their successful adventure, the friends went out for ice cream.
