Vita Living hosted the Pearls of Wisdom Fiesta at River Oaks Country Club and raised $200,000 to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Internationally renowned artist born with Down syndrome Sevy Marie Eicher (pictured, center, with mom Lisa Eicher and sister Ace Eicher) was a special guest for the evening. Lisa Eicher spoke on Sevy’s behalf, and guests enjoyed viewing two of Sevy’s pieces that were available in the live auction. Event co-chairs Pamela and Marc Perilloux and Kristen and Drew Perrin greeted the crowd, and Doug Dawson recognized honoree and past board chair Chris Mehling for his years of service to Vita Living’s efforts to provide people with disabilities a meaningful life in the community.
