SBEF scholarships

The Spring Branch Education Foundation (SBEF) awarded 117 scholarships to Spring Branch Independent School District seniors – a total of $186,100. Cece Thompson, executive director, said many recipients will be the first in their families to attend college or a career-training program. For the second year, due to Covid, the presentation took place virtually. One scholarship recipient is Connor Harvey, who received the Westchester Academy of International Studies PTA Scholarship. Connor (pictured, at graduation) is headed to Texas A&M in the fall.
