Houston A&M University Mothers' Club is hosting a scholarship concert at 7 p.m. Jan. 10 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The Singing Cadets – the longtime Voice of Aggieland – will perform. The Singing Cadets have sung in 10 countries and at the services of Barbara Bush and George H. W. Bush. Many of the Cadets are from Houston and graduated from high schools such as Strake Jesuit, Memorial High School, Episcopal High School and The Emery/Weiner School.
