Friends of West University Place Parks Fund and the Parks and Recreation Department will host the 12th annual Fathers & Flashlights overnight campout. The traditional fundraiser will take place Sat., Oct. 20, on the fields surrounding West U Elementary School. This year’s campout is planned by the Moorhead, Williams and Woody families, along with many volunteers, sponsors and staff. Dads and kids can look forward to catch-and-release fishing, bungee-run racing, a climbing wall, dinner, entertainment and more fun under the stars. See westuparks.org.
