Since her 65th birthday wasn’t until July, it was indeed a surprise when Cindy Atlas walked into Toulouse to see 36 friends shouting, “Surprise!” a month early. It was orchestrated by her daughters, Kim Harrington, Julie Taylor and Angela Atlas, while Mom and Dad (Brian) were cruising in the Greek islands. Gigantic balloons with confetti inside marked the cozy space. Yours truly with Donna Palmer, Brenda Fant and Debby Stanton created a fake flash-mob audience participation with signs and props before crowning Cindy Queen for the Night, assisted by the daughters.
