Partnering on vaccines

Marc Walsh and award recipient Whitney Walsh (pictured) were among 400 guests who filled the ballroom of the River Oaks Country Club at The Immunization Partnership’s 9th annual Community Immunity Spring Luncheon. Nicci White Greeley, MD, and Laura Laux Higgins, JD, chaired the luncheon to support vaccine-awareness programs. Their moms, Nancy Laux and Daisy White, served as honorary chairs. FOX-26 news anchor Melissa Wilson emceed the event, which featured a presentation by president and CEO of TIP Allison Winnike. Michele Boettiger presented Walsh with the John R. Boettiger, Jr. Award for Community Partnership. Among the guests were Judge Ed and Gwen Emmett, Dr. Julie Boom, Selby Bush, Dr. Stanley Spinner, Rep. Sarah Davis and Dr. Melanie Mouzoon.
