Backyard baby shower

On a mission to host an unforgettable couples’ baby shower for close friends Joe and Diana Trojan, Memorial residents Amanda and Todd Hamlin decided to look no further than their own backyard. The outdoor space inspired a fun, whimsical party their guests won’t soon forget. Amanda and cohosts Lindsey Jeffery, Mandy Mullins, Deanna Barton and Katrina Torres combined their ideas of a backyard barbecue, a carnival atmosphere, and a baby shower to create a “Baby-Q Carnival” theme. The party featured catered barbecue from Pappas, a popcorn machine, a cotton-candy tree and a surprise guest – a professional stilt performer. Guests received colorful Mardi Gras beads upon arrival. The adult guests loved the opportunity to act like kids for the night. Everyone is excited about the upcoming arrival of baby boy Hunter Wayne.
