There is an Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Who knew? The Sam Houston Area Council, Golden Arrow District BSA Troop 2 honored Russell Martin, Philip Mentz and Blake Phillips at St. Michael Catholic Church for their accomplishments. Rick Hotze, scoutmaster Jonathan Phillips and assistant scoutmaster Hal Mentz were especially proud. The boys’ projects involved rehabilitating the Yellowstone Academy greenhouse by creating a dance and a fitness studio, and installing sprinklers and a garden entry. And in case you forgot, “Do a Good Turn Daily,” the Boy Scout slogan, is a good idea even if you aren’t a scout.
