The Rummel Creek Elementary School community celebrated Día de los Muertos with a school-wide display to honor loved ones who have passed. Día de los Muerto is a time to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed on and students were invited to share a photo of a departed loved one, including pets, to add to the display. They also were invited to add names of loved ones to a large paper next to the display.

Throughout the year, RCE’s International/Cultural Committee creates displays like this one to celebrate holidays observed around the world.
