Chris Powell won three awards for his film Novalis, one of which was Best Animated Film from the Oregon Independent Film Festival.
Chris Powell, now 28, was inspired by them, growing up, to tell stories with his artistic talent. Animation just made sense. He graduated from Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida, known worldwide for its computer animation/game art program. He recently won three awards for his film Novalis, one of which was Best Animated Film from the Oregon Independent Film Festival.
