Maureen Maillet

Maureen Maillet

Bellaire resident and author Maureen Maillet (pictured) has released her second novel, The Peanut Butter Theory. The book follows the personal and professional exploits of fictional lawyers Kateland Jones and Harlynn Barrett. Young attorney Kate puts her dream of being an artist on hold to work for successful mergers and acquisitions lawyer Harlynn, and she’s swept up in an irresistible personal chemistry that forges an alchemic, sometimes toxic combination of office and social hours. Maureen will do a book reading at Barnes & Noble, 3003 W. Holcombe, on April 18, 2-4 p.m.
